TODAY'S FORECAST - HELLO FIRST DAY OF SPRING! 45°F 9:00AM
HELLO FIRST DAY OF SPRING! 45°F 9:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Spring arrived today and with it came a chance of showers as a trough offshore generates rain our way as it drifts south along the coast. Snow levels are above 5000ft and the Sierra may see 4-8" of snow above 7000ft. No snow for us, but we may see half an inch of rain or so in town with a light breeze. We may even see the sun poke through this evening. Today's temps may reach the low 50s with overnight lows in the low 40s.
Only a few showers are expected early Thursday before we clear out. Friday looks mostly sunny with another chance of rain developing on Saturday from a weak system. The forecast gets tricky again on Monday as we remain unsettled and potentially wet through mid week. This won't be a solid block of rain or gloom. The sun will come out.
The long range forecast still looks wet off and on as we approach the end of March. This stormy wet weather pattern is typical of March and it doesn't look particularly strong or even that wet. This March has not been at all like last year when it rained and snowed like crazy and it's not expected to. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
