HEATING UP! 70°F 9:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Hotter summer days are on the way! Highs today will be reaching into the upper 80s with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.
The real heat arrives early next week as High pressure bubbles up from the desert SW, bringing us dry and hotter weather with the possibility of dry t'storms along the Sierra crest. Wetter t'storms will be possible by midweek to our south with monsoon moisture reaching the northern Sierra crest late in week. No rain is expected in the Sierra until then. We will remain dry with daytime highs screaming into the mid 90s over much of Western Nevada County. This is a typical summer weather pattern, but hopefully it won't last as long as it did last year when we had 44 straight days above 90°.
The long range forecast looks to remain dry, except along the sierra crest where t'storm activity looks likely. It really does look like the hottest days of summer are finally on the way. Stay hydrated! Have a super Saturday!
