TODAY'S FORECAST -

GETTING HOT AGAIN! 81°F 11:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. I'm back after working the last 5 days at the Nevada County Fair! I captured so many smiles and beautiful moments. Follow my Photography page for some of the highlights. www.facebook.com/lenkalandphotography.

The weather for the Fair was absolutely perfect. This all changes today as we begin to heat up into the 90s as strong High pressure shifts west into our region. Expect highs to reach the upper 80s to low 90s today with overnight lows in the low 60s.

We really heat up Tuesday through Thursday as High pressure sits over us, and just like before, the onshore is expected to return late in the week bringing cooler days in the low 80s by the weekend. This is a continuation of the same weather pattern we've seen all summer long.

The long range forecast shows little change. We will remain dry with periods of hot weather as the current weather pattern stays more or less in place. Late in the month we may see a weather pattern develop that may open the door for subtropical moisture to influence our weather and bring the Sierra and the foothills the first chance of real rain this summer. More on that soon.
