GET READY FOR HOTTER DAYS! 72°F 7:30AM Hey hey Giovanni here. If you don't like hot weather then you're not going to like today as highs will be reaching into the mid 90s with overnight lows in the mid 60s.
High pressure stationed over the desert SW is drifting west bringing with it instability and a dry hot air mass, limiting t'storm development to the eastern flank of the Sierra south of Hwy50. We will really heat up this weekend as High pressure sits directly over us. Expect daytime highs near 100°F in GV and NC Saturday and Sunday. Not as hot weather is expected early next week as the ridge of High pressure shifts east.
The long range forecast looks to remain dry and hot, except along the eastern flank of the sierra crest where t'storm activity looks possible. Stay cool and hydrated!
