Managing a passive-aggressive employee is difficult because you never really know what is going on. The most effective way to manage passive-aggressive behavior is to name it without blaming and shaming the employee. Make a neutral comment such as 'I can see that you are uncomfortable with,' 'What do you think about,' or' How are you feeling about.' Stay calm and focused.
