Build a reputation as an employee who’s willing to lend a hand. 2) Make your request specific, doable and time-bound. ‘I need a list of all customers who purchased green-colored toads with black spots in the last quarter by noon tomorrow.’ 3) Explain why you need the help, i.e., ‘the list will help me get the project done on time and under budget.
