CLEARING SKIES! 44°F 8:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. Skies are clearing as the storm that brought us rain this weekend drifts south out of our region. A few showers are still possible along the foothills and Sierra, but overall little to no rain today. Expect today's daytime highs in the upper 60s with overnight lows in the low 40s.
The rest of the week looks dry at this time as High pressure locks in. The weekend is looking a bit more exciting as the possibility for a potent winter storm. It's still too soon to get all excited, but if this storm pattern follows current forecast models we may be in for a treat as the Sierra crest may see a heavy snowfall. Only rain for us, but I'm still excited either way.
Long range forecast models are looking at more rain through the rest of March. It's still not looking like any miracle is going to happen and we will end the rain year well below average.
