BIG CHANGES ARE ON THE WAY! 51°F 7:00 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. A continuation of the warm and dry weather we've been enjoying all month long will be with us again today. Expect today's daytime highs in the low 70s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s.

High pressure offshore will remain strong through Friday before a cut off Low drops south from Oregon on Saturday, bringing a much cooler air mass and a chance of rain and snow. Snow levels will be tricky as this mostly moisture starved system brings the possibility of snow as low as 2000ft and a wintry mix as low as 1500ft. Don't get all super excited! Little to no accumulation is expected in GV/NC. The Sierra crest may receive 5" of snow through Sunday morning before clearing arrives. Dry and warmer is expected to return by Monday

March Miracle?

The long range forecast models are still advertising a major pattern change late next week that will bring us a solid chance of rain and sierra snow. Details are unknown, but this may include one if not more follow up storms into the second week of March as the storm door swings wide open. I'll have more details as they become available. Fingers crossed!
