TODAY'S FORECAST

A FEW SHOWERS.. MAYBE! 44°F 6:00AM Hey hey Giovanni here. A bit cooler this morning as a cold front exits to our east this morning. A few afternoon instability showers will be possible, but little rain is expected as we clear out this evening. Snow showers above 6000ft are likely through tonight. Drive carefully and be prepared for winter driving conditions over the Summit. Today's temperatures will reach the mid 60s with cool overnight lows in the mid 40s.

Wednesday looks dry and bit warmer, but our weather will become unsettled and potentially showery on Thursday mainly along the Sierra crest as an inside slider drops down into the Great Basin and the Sierra. We may only see increased cloudiness and a stray shower or two. Friday and Saturday looks dry and warmer with maybe a chance of showers on Sunday evening into Monday, but this system also looks to mainly impact the Sierra crest. We will see.

The long range forecast is drying out with only slight chances of showers remaining. Warm sunny spring days on the way as the storm track weakens significantly in the coming weeks allowing for High pressure to establish a dry mid spring pattern. Have a totally cool Tuesday!
