A BREAK! 39°F 10:30 AM Hey hey Giovanni here. It's good to see the sun after a few days of off and on rain. Strong High pressure is here with us and will help keep us dry today. Expect today's daytime highs in the upper 40s and overnight lows in the low 30s.

Monday and Tuesday look to remain dry, but this is a progressive weather pattern, meaning that we can expect more storminess this coming week. The next storm may start spreading rain into our region as early as Tuesday night, but this storm is a bit of nightmare for forecasters as it wants to trend south of our region, taking the bulk of the rain and best dynamics south of Interstate 80. This looks to be a colder weather pattern with snow levels around 4000ft, but with the limited available moisture, I doubt this will be a huge snow maker and rain amounts will be light. The rest of the week looks unsettled as a zonal flow will keep us wet off and on. A stronger wetter storm looks to take aim and impact our weather next weekend with snow falling below 4000ft. Too soon to tell, but this the storm pattern that looks to potentially impact our holiday travel plans. More on this soon.

The long range forecast looks to remain unsettled as we end the year. There's even a chance of rain on New Year's Day.
