#LODD Swainsboro, GA: Lt Ricky Thurman died in the Line of Duty this evening Monday, May 4, 2015, Lieutenant Thurman was operating at the scene of a house fire on Wadley Road at around 2200 hours. While operating at the fire, he suffered cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived. Swainsboro is east of Macon and south of Augusta.
